However, while the mission itself was fairly straightforward, it also came with a few bugs which impacted the progression if players damaged the High Celebrant too fast. Word spread that the exotic Fourth Mark ship was also bugged, or at the very least, featured an extremely low drop change percentage....

For now, fans will want to purchase at least the Deluxe Edition of the Witch Queen expansion, which comes with all upcoming seasons, extra content, and the dungeons. There are more than a few fans who are not happy with this decision, not only for the increased cost but the fact that the upcoming Bungie 30th anniversary pack is another $25 on top of that. Thankfully, Bungie has confirmed that there would be other purchase paths for the dungeon content coming at a later date but for now, the Deluxe Edition seems to be the only path....

Bungie calls the update bringing Prophecy Dungeon back “Update 3.0.1.” The developer didn’t disclose everything that the update would entail in its latest Destiny 2 twab, but it did flesh out everything related to the activity. It also reiterated that Update 3.0.1 would officially bring about PS5 and Xbox Series versions of Destiny 2. As it stands right now, both next-gen consoles can play the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game using their backward compatibility features, but they don’t have their own versions to play....

Twitter user DestinyNewsCom recently shared a clip from Destiny 2 that focuses on a Brig attacking a Guardian. The player in the video isn’t under attack as the Brig is focusing on another Guardian in the distance. The player the video is based around begins unloading Hand Cannon and Fusion Rifle ammo into the mech as it unsuccessfully fires blasts at the Guardian out of view which end up hitting nearby debris....

Destiny 2’s thirteenth content season will start from 9 February and brings with it a new matchmade activity dubbed Battlegrounds, along with the usual array of new gear and Strikes. According to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, five different sources have confirmed that Destiny 2 will be available on Google Stadia’s cloud gaming service. This will allow Stadia users to play Destiny 2 from a myriad of devices via a browser or app, regardless of the platform’s hardware strength. It’d be much like streaming a video. With a new rumored Destiny 2 expansion, Shadowkeep, in place for release this fall, it’d be quite the opportunity for new players to try the game out via Google Stadia....

The introduction of weapon crafting to Destiny 2 has been facilitated through the so-called Deepsight (red border) weapons. Collecting and dismantling a set number of Deepsight weapons of a specific type (usually five of them) allows players to unlock a permanent crafting recipe for it, which then makes it possible to craft it with virtually any perk and stat combination that the player wishes to have access to. The tweet came from Brendan Thorne, a senior game designer who works on Destiny 2’s raids. He responded to a tweet from a fan suggesting that Bungie should allow players to see behind some of the locked doors within the Leviathan raid, to which Thorne responded, “Funny you should say that.” That’s significant because when Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, was announced and detailed just a few weeks ago, publisher Activision told fans they could expect “new raid content” in Curse of Osiris....

The week is split into double and triple Valor days in Destiny 2 with double Valor beginning at the weekly reset, October 16 through October 19. Then gains will increase to triple Valor starting October 19 through the 23. Expect that change from double to triple Valor at the daily reset (10 a.m. PDT) on October 19. The latest Destiny 2 tip comes from the YouTuber Cheese Forever via the community’s sub-Reddit. To start off, players need to complete a run of the new Sundial activity on Mercury. After finishing the boss, the rewards screen appears for players who have linked an obelisk, letting them select a weapon. What the game doesn’t tell players is that after making a selection, two copies are added to the inventory, one that is visible and one that only appears within the infusion screen....
