The biggest issue facing players is the chance of network related issues causing Destiny 2 to completely disconnect. The possibility becomes greater later in the week when the beta opens up to everyone and essentially turns into a stress test for the servers. While some issues may interrupt gameplay, others are bugs on a much smaller scale such as location names not appearing, players not loading in where their teammates are located during the Inverted Spire strike and more....

In a post on Twitter, Destiny 2 community manager dmg04 revealed that the studio was preparing to add the oft-maligned Exodus Crash strike back into strike playlist rotation in the coming weeks. The strike was removed from Heroic and Nightfall rotation due to uneven difficulty, a progress-halting glitch, and an end boss in Thaviks the Depraved that left players feeling more frustrated than fulfilled. Details on when the strike would be returning in full and what has actually changed wasn’t made available, unfortunately....

Prime Engrams are currently a core mechanic for increasing power in Destiny 2. Players earn Prime Engrams simply by playing. They’re granted by what’s suspected to be a measurement of total enemy kills over a window of time. Players kill a certain amount of enemies and earn a Prime Engram, which is guaranteed to be more powerful than the item that a player currently has equipped. Following the launch of the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 back in 2018, players were able to finish a quest for Cayde-6 which ultimately granted them an expired Spicy Ramen Coupon. The quest took players to the Ramen shop in the Bazaar of the Tower where they could interact with the shop to earn the expired coupon with a good amount of story attached to it. While the coupon was largely a sentimental item to remember the fan favorite character, many players kept the coupon in their inventory in the hopes that someday it would lead to something bigger....

Destiny 2’s champion enemies fall into one of three types - overload, barrier, and unstoppable. As the name implies, barrier champions are capable of generating a protective shield which prevents players from doing damage while the champion regenerates its health. Unstoppable champions will charge forward at players and are more resilient, requiring much more damage to defeat than normal enemies. It’s only brief, but a glitch in the Orbit screen for Destiny 2 shows a placeholder that looks a lot like the scorecard for Trials of Osiris. Grandmaster Nightfalls lock players into being underleveled by 25 power levels, they have limited revives that replenish on Champion kills, and they introduce a ton of modifiers that weigh the odds against the players. One modifier, Match Game, exists even at the lower levels of difficulty and is especially tough to deal with. Match Game makes it much harder for elemental weapons to break the elemental shields of various enemies if those weapons and shields are mismatched....

The pyramid threat has spread this week after originally appearing over Io at the start of the current season, these ships have now invaded the skyboxes of Titan, Mars, and Mercury. Commander Zavala sends players to each of the vendors stationed at these locations to provide assistance through weekly bounties. Despite some players feeling confused or frustrated about the Shadowkeep campaign and how it ended, there is actually a lot to garner from how Destiny 2 handled the campaign in Shadowkeep. It marks the first release of Destiny 2 that Bungie has developed after it split from Activision and assumed full publishing rights for the franchise.
