The headlining item that Destiny 2 players can unlock in their Season 13 rewards is the Exotic Bow Ornament for the Ticuu’s Divination Bow, Hasta Solari. Players who fail to complete the Season Pass will also be missing out on the Blade Breaker emote, the Legatus Set Universal Armor Ornaments, the Humanity’s Shield emote, Exotic Engrams, and various other rewards. It doesn’t take a ton of commitment to complete the Season Pass, so casual players that have yet to do so should still have time....

The following are a number of glitches that have been fixed in Destiny 2 and the PC beta: Infinite Super Glitch While entertaining and not quite game breaking when it was discovered in the beta, the glitch that allowed players to have infinite supers during The Inverted Spire strike has been fixed. Like the console beta, it didn’t have much danger of ruining anything in the PC beta, but it’s good to know that it has been fixed for the main game....

There are also two farmable weapons with this year’s edition of the Solstice event, with one being a Solar shotgun called Compass Rose, and a new 120 RPM Stasis hand cannon called Something New. What makes these weapons unique is the fact that, much like Destiny 2’s last Guardian Games edition, the Solstice weapons now have their own event-exclusive Origin Trait, called Dream Work. The perk is supposed to overflow the weapons’ magazines or reload it from reserves on assists or killing enemies hit by teammates, and only once per reload....

The Smosh Games team kicks things off by calling Destiny 2 a “vampire that eats social lives.” The game lets people hoover up loot to improve their characters; improvements which will then help them spend even more time within Destiny 2. But is all that time spent in the game worth it? The Honest Game Trailer also criticizes the game for feeling like “an expansion pack” where players fight all the same bad guys as the first game, with the big difference being that Bungie has booted players back to level one....

Since Destiny 2 was initially released in 2017, it has become one of the leading first-person shooters in gaming. Bungie has done everything to ensure its post-Halo offerings have enough to satisfy gamers, with a major expansion released every year since launch. Destiny 2’s 2019 move to a free-to-play model also significantly helped the game, as it expanded the possible audience to millions more players. With the Lightfall expansion releasing soon, Destiny 2 will remain a key player in the multiplayer first-person shooter genre for years to come....

Destiny 2 players have been buzzing over Lord Saladin’s voice lines today, sharing their favorite phrases from the character. One particular favorite is “die, die die!” which is one of the lines that Saladin says after players get a kill. Saladin’s phrasing is just like Overwatch’s death-loving character Reaper when he pops his Death Blossom ultimate. Saladin then follows it up by clearing his throat, apologizing for getting so enthusiastic about the Iron Banner action....

Thanks to a dedicated Destiny 2 fan who ran tests on the weapons, we have these numbers to review. That fan, Mercules904, posted an entire spreadsheet on the Destiny subreddit, going into detail of each weapon class and archetype, breaking it down to how fast each archetype can kill with the fewest amount of shots (optimal) and how long it takes to kill if all the shots are body shots....

To note, there are actually a total of nine Entropic Shards to find in Beyond Light, and fans will need to visit them all if they want to earn the Study Darkness Triumph in Destiny 2. However, since only five are required for Aspect of Control, that is all that is being covered here. As such, players that are working toward the aforementioned Triumph or the Splintered Title will need to pursue other sources for the locations of the remaining four Entropic Shards....

Just recently, one particular fan managed to find evidence on the main Bungie website hinting that the next season was going to be called Season of the Splicer. When the information broke online, Bungie seemingly changed the line of code, replacing the word Splicer with a simple ‘XXX.’ Another user managed to come across unused dialogue spoken by Uldren Sov, now known as Crow, that references Splicers working alongside Guardians....

However, the Witch Queen delay has also created a situation that could work in Bungie’s favor moving forward. Assuming that this isn’t just a one-off for Destiny 2 content releases, there would presumably be a shift in the game’s entire annual calendar. Bungie has yet to acknowledge the issue, which started occurring this weekend and has been widely reported on Destiny 2 forums and subreddits. It’s unfortunate timing for such a bug to be happening too, as many players are trying to complete their Moments of Triumph and Tribute Hall in order to claim the new title or unlock the Bad Juju catalyst. To be specific, the problem facing Destiny 2 players seems to stem from the game not acknowledging the completion of a match in Crucible or Gambit....

The prologue trailer for Curse of Osiris gives introduction not only to the Warlock himself, but also to his unique Ghost companion Sagira. Osiris is hunting for something on Mercury within the Vex stronghold at the planet’s core. His coopted Vex technology allows him to explore this Vex installation, named the Infinite Forest, though clearly not with ease. Sagira, a much more important character than previously expected, is clearly not thrilled about the endeavor....

In addition to new weapons like the Halo-inspired Forerunner sidearm, Bungie added a new dungeon called the Grasp of Avarice as well as a free 6 player activity known as Dares of Eternity. With Xur acting as a gameshow host, players compete in multiple rounds against different enemy factions, obstacle courses, and then a final boss battle. Naturally, players are rewarded with loot for their effort including weapons, Strange coins, and Treasure Keys....

One of the main complaints about Gambit among the most dedicated and hardcore fans is the catch-up mechanic that helps the opposing team gain ground after summoning the Primeval second. Destiny 2 designer Robbie Stevens says the Primeval buff is changing in Season 5 so that the trailing team only receives one Primeval Slayer buff instead of several. As a result, the leading team should have an easier time keeping its advantage and the losing team will have to work harder to truly catch up....

Among them, an example is that some mini-bosses within the game can be killed repeatedly in order to obtain an insane amount of Laurels to complete the event’s various bounties. This is achieved by farming the spot in Savathun’s Throne World, in Miasma, where the entrance to the Vow of the Disciple Raid is normally located. There, two Lucent Hive Knights spawn at all times, and they can be killed with ease to get plenty of Laurels on a short cooldown....

Among the major Destiny 2 content creators to have taken a break from the game is King Gothalion. At one point, Gothalion was one of the most recognizable members of the Destiny 2 directory on Twitch but a lot has changed since then. Destiny 2’s Spire of the Watcher takes players on a romp through an ancient Warmind facility in an effort to stop the forces of the Witness from taking control over it. The entire endeavor is funded by one of the Destiny universe’s arms manufacturers, Tex Mechanica, whose cowboy-themed armor is one of the dungeon’s most coveted drops. The upcoming Destiny 2 exotic nerfs largely impact the game’s PvE content, as the nerfed weapons have been favorites to use in boss battles. Many detractors have complained that the exotic weapon nerfs coming with the Season of Opulence will simply make the game less fun, whereas others have expressed annoyance that the nerfs will make the exotic weapons they worked hard to get not as useful as they once were....
