However, Destiny 2 is now in the later stages of Season 16 as Bungie directs attention towards what’s coming next. While the developer certainly has some secrets it won’t be sharing in advance, the last few weekly updates have started to pull the curtain back on season 17 a bit. Solar and Arc subclasses will be getting a similar overhaul in the next couple of seasons, weapon crafting at The Relic is going to be getting easier, and even Lord Saladin is going to see an overhaul to earning rewards similar to current vendors at the Tower....

Exploits are rare in Destiny 2, but when they are found they typically offer a significant advantage. The latest discovery is similar to the Wardcliff Coil glitch in that it gives players a boost in the heavy ammo category, but in this case, it actually gives players a surplus of heavy. The key to this glitch is the Rat King exotic sidearm, which received a buff with the Destiny 2 Warmind update....

With those buffs, the Titan deals out 14.7 million points of damage. Of course, this Destiny 2 challenge has a few caveats to it. Because the Titans needed to apply Hammer Strike (melting point) for a debuff, they do end up dealing some damage to Riven....

Bungie announced Season 15 of Destiny 2 will be titled Season of the Lost and shared an image to tease players with whats in store. The image features Mara Sov, who has not been seen in-game since Forsaken and Season of the Forge, standing in a room which appears to be inside the Dreaming City. Also seen in the image standing behind Mara is Osiris, who, especially after the events of Season of the Splicer, may not be the Osiris players met back in Destiny 2’s first year....

The Hunter stasis abilities were so overpowered that Bungie had to nerf the class just a few weeks after the release of Beyond Light. Weapon changes were also discussed and unfortunately for sword users, Bungie is hitting them with the nerfbat. With how popular they are in PvE combat, Bungie is lowering all sword power by 15%. However, the currently underpowered rocket launchers are getting a 30% boost, with exotics getting adjusted individually....

For the first time, Bungie is adding a fourth element type into Destiny 2 that sits alongside the familiar types of Void, Solar, and Arc. Stasis, which looks to be similar to ice, will not only be a damage type but will be usable by Guardians. Weapons will be able to use stasis as a damage type and if the gameplay footage is any indication, stasis is capable of freezing enemies in place....

Banshee-44 has mostly sold mods and bounties in Destiny 2, but with this change to his inventory, Banshee-44 will bring Guardians six randomly rolled Legendary weapons in Destiny 2 every week. There was a bug last week that caused the weapons to change their rolls daily near the start of the week but that has since been fixed. However, a new bug causes some weapons to not come with their Masterwork trait....

Known as Vex Crossroads, this Mercury-only mission represents Bungie’s biggest and most elaborate public event the studio has created so far. The main objective is to shut down four different warp gates, though to do that, players need to work together to bring down four Gatekeepers as well. When one falls, they leave behind two keys, which players need to pick up and dunk into one of four pedestals. Knocking out four of the gates pushes the fire team to the other side of the zone to do it again before phase two kicks in on a completely different Vex island....

After holding a meeting with the team to discuss feedback surrounding Enhancement Cores, the studio has decided to put together a plan to address this issue for future seasons. On Ashen Wings is one of the new Ornaments for Hawkmoon, which gives the gun a different darker color and more pronounced feathers to make the wings of the gun. While some Guardians prefer the classic look of the Hawkmoon, the On Ashen Wings Ornament has quickly become a fan favorite. The original Hawkmoon Ornaments are not currently in Destiny 2.
