The glitch combines some of the active glitches in Destiny 2 at the moment, namely the invincible glitch and the first person glitch. As a result, there is a fair amount of setup necessary to activate the immunity glitch and it won’t always work in most scenarios. Realistically, most players will only find it useful in select raid encounters, but those where it does work will make soloing an encounter a lot easier....
While fans probably assumed that Bungie would be adding something fresh to the Vex in Curse of Osiris, Destiny 2 developer Dave Matthews confirmed to Italian gaming site Everyeye.it that there will be new Vex enemy types: Although it is not confirmed fans may see some of these new Vex during the Curse of Osiris reveal streams coming up this month. It doesn’t appear that any of them have been slipped into the expansion’s first trailer, but it also is unclear what Dave Matthews means by new types of Vex....

Weapon crafting also provides a way for hardcore players to have even better versions of their favorite guns by adding Enhanced Perks at the cost of rare crafting materials. However, Enhanced Perks are not always that much better for what they cost to craft, and in some cases Bungie has already changed the weapons since their release, often resulting in overall nerfs for the sake of Destiny 2’s balance. A bigger issue with weapon crafting is that it may have launched at the wrong time because of how meta-changing The Witch Queen was on its own, and the fact that Season of the Risen also included the Void 3....
In addition to Revision Zero, resourceful Destiny 2 players have discovered an exotic Sparrow that can be unlocked a bit earlier than Bungie intended. The Seraph styled ride is known as Archangel’s Refit can be unlocked by destroying 50 security drones with Revision Zero using Ricochet Rounds and although it isn’t supposed to be possible yet, some have found a way to use the ricochet rounds to hit out of bounds areas....
However, negotiations soon break down as the two sides are once again at odds with one another. As a result of this, Season 13 adds in a new Battlegrounds mode where three players battle against Cabal champions in familiar locations that have been transformed by the enemy faction. In addition, players will be able to revisit classic Devil’s Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strikes from the original Destiny and chase new weapons including a solar exotic bow called Ticuu’s Divination that fires charged seeking arrows....
This week’s Bungie blog also dove into all of the changes coming to progression and game economy as well. As many may have expected, Bungie is removing a large portion of items along with the destinations that are going to be vaulted. The studio has made a complete list of items, quests, and currencies getting automatically removed, though for destination materials like Phaseglass Needles, Alkane Dust, Simulation Seeds, and Seraphite will need to be manually dealt with....
Things really came to a head this past reset where a new seasonal challenge challenged players to level three seasonal shaped weapons to level 10. While the wording is a bit vague on what constitutes a seasonal weapon, the larger issue the community has is how grind heavy the activity has become just to finish some of these challenges. Thankfully, Bungie Community Manager Dylan Gafner acknowledged many of the crafting pain points, promising to pass along the rounded up feedback which many hope can be implemented sooner than later....

While fans have been criticizing the drop rate of Season of Plunder Deepsight weapons, Bungie is fixing two seasonal upgrades which should significantly help. Double Perk Weapon Spoils Crew Upgrade will now drop a Deepsight weapon pattern for the first weapon focus each week while Hidden Compartment Crew Upgrade properly refreshes during the weekly reset....
Location This week, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on Titan, in the Rig area. Some will remember this as Xur’s Week 2 hiding spot, which is tucked inside a small building along the coastline. It shouldn’t be too hard to find Xur if you target the Agent of the Nine on your map. Armor Xur’s exotic armor selection this weekend includes the Raiden Flux chest piece for Hunters, the Doom Fang Pauldron gauntlets for Titans, and the Winter’s Guile gauntlets for Warlocks....
This new upper tier of weapons is part of Bungie’s goal to introduce new systems and rewards to “give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits.” Masterworks fit into that concept quite literally, providing end-game minded players with rewards worth investing extra time into acquiring. Masterworks also address another area of concern, as hardcore players have long been asking for additional depth with regards to endgame gear optimization. What Masterworks weapons do is add an additional re-rollable stat bonus to items of the new quality....
While it was confirmed before the expansion’s launch in September that Destiny 2’s Gambit mode would not feature any sort of private matchmaking options for players, it looks as though Bungie plans to add this feature sometime in Spring 2019. The confirmation comes via twitter from Bungie Community manager Cozmo, who says private matches for Gambit will be coming in the Season of the Drifter update. The official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account has since provided some clarification. While Destiny 2 and its previously released expansions will be coming to Game Pass on Xbox One beginning in September, those on PC will have to wait until 2021. This is unfortunate news for PC gamers who are looking forward to the Destiny 2: Beyond Light expansion, as it would have been a considerably less expensive way to jump into the new content come November 10....

There’s no word yet on when the beta will go live for Destiny 2, but it’s likely it won’t be available until just before the official launch in September.
