There are nine cats hidden in all, so players will need to collect nine Small Gifts in order to activate them all. Once players find a cat and give it A Small Gift, the statue will disappear. So players will have nine opportunities for a random Dreaming City Legendary gear drop per character in Destiny 2.

Follow the video guides below to find all the hidden cat statues in the Dreaming City. Or, for players who would rather have a hint and find the cats themselves, here’s a list of where they can be found:

“Floating islands” north of the Divalian Mists and west of the Oracle Within the temple that holds the Oracle In a cave hidden down the cliff past the entrance to the Blind Well Between cliffs in Rheasilvia On a tree over a chasm in Rheasilvia In Harbinger’s Seclude on top of a tree On top of a structure near the end of Harbinger’s Seclude To the right when entering The Strand on the side of the cliff On the top of a cliff on the left side after entering the Gardens of Esila

Small Gifts can be found by completing public events, opening chests, or defeating high priority targets in the Dreaming City. The gear from the hidden cats are not Powerful drops that will increase players’ level but they are guaranteed to provide destination gear, of which players can take advantage of the Riven’s Curse mod on the armor and collect some weapons with some really good stats. Many of the Dreaming City weapons feature some of the strongest archetypes in Destiny 2, so they are well worth chasing.
