Luckily, finding Lost Sectors is easy, so long as you know what to look for. To find The Conflux, first make your way over to Nessus, one of Destiny 2’s longest-standing destinations. Once on Nessus, you can fast travel to the Cistern Valley fast travel point. Upon arrival, head north into The Cistern region of Nessus.

Once in The Cistern, make a beeline toward the Well of Flames, located along the western side of this region. To find the entrance to The Conflux, look for a waterfall and then search around it for a small cave. Heading inside the cave will lead to the Lost Sector’s main entrance, and then if you continue deeper you’ll need to deal with the enemies inside.

The Conflux features multiple types of Cabal enemies, including Legionaries, Phalanx and Centurions. These enemies can be difficult, especially if you allow them to gang up on you.

Try to keep moving and avoid assaulting any groups of Phalanx from the front, as their shield will negate most of the damage you put out. However, if you utilize your grenades or Super abilities, you should be able to take them out fairly quickly.

If you’re completing The Conflux as part of Destiny 2’s Legendary Lost Sectors, then be sure to interact with the market to start the Legendary event and earn yourself Exotic gear. Like some of the other Lost Sectors in the game—such as Concealed Void and K1: Crew Quarters—The Conflux will be a challenge for players, but the rewards you can get from the chest at the end of the activity is more than worth the trouble.

Completing Lost Sectors like The Conflux is just one way players can work to progress in Destiny 2’s current season while they await the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall, which is set to arrive in 2023. On top of completing Lost Sectors, players can also unlock Mementos and take advantage of Nightfall strikes at each Weekly Reset to unlock other rewards.

Destiny 2 is free to play now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PC.
