Online and free-to-play games are prone to hacking, which is the primary reason Bungie has chosen not to go with the handheld device. Besides hacking issues, Destiny 2 still has a few troubling bugs that often get on gamers’ nerves. Previously, Bungie warned Destiny 2 users to avoid Season of the Risen War Table bounties due to a severe bug. More recently, a new bug has arrived that is bothering gamers due to a scarce item in the game, the Ascendant Alloy.

The Ascendant Alloy is a tremendously rare and costly resource in Destiny 2. There are only a few ways to get the prized resource, and a weekly purchase of a single item from Master Rahool is the easiest. For this method, players have to wait for the weekly reset to buy new items. However, on March 1, players across the world came across a strange bug that prevented them from buying the Ascendant Alloy. Despite making no purchases, these users were informed they’d reached the Alloy Weekly Limit. Reddit user bjyu9824 took it upon himself to raise the concern, forcing Bungie to take action on the same.

Interestingly, Bungie was aware of this bug, and they even replied to bjyu9824’s post. Reddit user Dirtyeffinhippy from the Bungie Community Team commented that Bungie would soon be releasing a new hotfix, which means this issue will be solved by the next weekly reset. Furthermore, Bungie is offering a great deal to appease its angry player base where they can buy 2 Ascendant Alloys at the price of one. Fans appreciated Bungie’s efficient communication regarding the matter in the comment section.

Bungie is one of the most responsive and proactive developers out there who believe in fast communication. Previously, it released a list of problems with the new Destiny 2 expansion, the Witch Queen. These two instances are perfect examples of Bungie’s focus on customer satisfaction via high-quality support.

In spite of Bungie’s customer support and favorable reviews for the Witch Queen expansion, many players are confused about some aspects of the new expansion. This includes the new power level caps in Witch Queen.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
