Baryon Bough is a type of ethereal substance found in the Dreaming City in Destiny 2. The tree-looking resource serves a purpose to Guardians journeying through the location. Players can harvest Baryon Bough and exchange it for different items, such as Tincture of Queensfoil. Besides its usefulness to players, it looks aesthetically pleasing. Recently, one artistic fan decided to recreate the beautiful tree in real life.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as dannym1231 revealed a new piece of art they created. According to the creator, they decided to recreate a Baryon Bough from Destiny 2 for their fiance. One of the highlights was the artist’s accurate recreation of the spindly branches of the tree. In addition, they used a dodecahedron for the vase of the ethereal plant. Furthermore, the design featured many purple-tinted lights to make it appear as though the tree was glowing.

This real-world recreation of a Baryon Bough has caught the attention of numerous members of the Destiny 2 community on Reddit. With over 3,300 upvotes in only a day, gamers were impressed with the resemblance of the tree to the one found in-game. Some thought the purple lighting of the tree gave the room a “Dreaming City mood,” while others wondered what the reaction of the artist’s fiance was. Danny1231 responded, “she absolutely loved it!”

This is just one of many pieces of artwork created by Destiny 2 fans. Recently, another fan designed a Ghost in Blender, a 3D computer graphics software. With an abundance of passionate fans comprising the Destiny 2 fanbase, it will be interesting to see what kinds of creations gamers, such as danny1231, come up with next.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
