Destiny 2: How to Get Personal Touch for Dawning 2021

In order to obtain Personal Touch, players must simply slay enemies with melee attacks. Indeed, this Dawning ingredient has a chance to drop from any type of enemy in Destiny 2 so long as they are dispatched with a punch. Fans should certainly not expect to receive a Personal Touch every time that they score a melee kill, though, and the material is actually not a very common drop at all.

Fortunately, the possibility of obtaining Personal Touch from any adversary means that fans do not really need to go out of their way to farm for it. Indeed, Destiny 2 players can simply focus on incorporating more melee kills into whatever activity they are working on, and they should come up with some number of Personal Touch in time. While certain activities are undoubtedly better suited for using melee attacks, fans can be quite flexible in exactly how they go about obtaining the ingredient.

One thing that players may want to consider is going for melee kills when they are farming for some of the other Dawning ingredients, such as Dark Ether Cane in Destiny 2. Several of those additional materials can only be obtained from dispatching certain types of enemies, which can limit a fan’s options quite considerably. That said, the ability to also collect Personal Touch while farming for other ingredients may make those limitations feel less severe.

To note, ingredients are not the only thing that players that wish to participate in the Dawning will need to acquire, as there is also a currency attached to the event. That currency is Destiny 2’s Essence of Dawning, and repeatedly completing Wrathborn hunts is the fastest way to earn it. Again, players can collect some Personal Touch during those hunts if they are brave enough to get in close and try to land some lethal melee attacks against their opponents.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
