How to Get Eliksni Birdseed
Much like all of The Dawning’s treats, Destiny 2 players need Dawning Essence to bake Eliksni Birdseed, which will either cost 15 if they haven’t Masterworked Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1 or 10 if they have. Dawning Essence is obtained whenever players complete any activity in the game, with quicker ones awarding fewer points, around 10, and lengthier ones awarding more, about 16 to 18. Because there are a lot of treats to bake, it’s a good idea to stock Dawning Essence beforehand.

One of the materials needed to bake Eliksni Birdseed is Ether Cane, which can be obtained by killing Fallen in Destiny 2. Fallen are everywhere in the game, and good places to look for them are the Tangled Shore, the EDZ, and the Cosmodrome. Because greater enemy density will provide more materials to those players who can quickly dispose of many enemies, the most rewarding activities would be Strikes, Lost Sectors, Gambit, and Dares of Eternity.
The second ingredient is Personal Touch, which Destiny 2 players can obtain by scoring kills with melee attacks. Unlike Ether Cane, Personal Touch is a rarer material that can be obtained with any melee kill, meaning that there is no restriction based on the enemy race or where the enemies are defeated. However, it may take longer to farm efficiently, and AoE charged melee attacks would make the process speedier.
After players get all of the ingredients and enough Dawning Essence to bake the treats, they should check Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1 to find Eliksni Birdseed available in the first row of the recipes. Once baked, Eliksni Birdseed can be given to Suraya Hawthorne’s falcon, in The Tower, near Ikora Rey. Players will also be awarded a gift in return for extra loot and Dawning Spirit.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
