How to Make Dark Chocolate Motes
Destiny 2 players will need to deliver three of these chocolate motes to the Drifter, and they are located in the Tower Annex. To cook just one of these treats, players have to get their hands on Taken Butter, Null Taste, and Essence of Dawning. Here’s how to get them all.

Where to Find Taken Butter
In order to get Taken Butter in Destiny 2, players will need to defeat the Taken enemies. There’s Taken all over Destiny 2, but players can go to The Dreaming City specifically to find a lot of them or participate in the Lake of Shadows Strike or Nightfall. The Taken Butter will be a random drop, so players just need to keep defeating them until they get one for the Dark Chocolate Motes recipe.
Where to Find Null Taste
There’s pretty much one main way for players to get Null Taste, and that’s by defeating enemies using Void weapons to deal Void damage. Using the Void ability or Super kills also counts. One of the best places to fight enemies is in the Dares of Eternity activity since it’s highly populated at the moment, both with players and enemies.
How to Farm Essence of Dawning
And last but not least, Destiny 2 players can obtain Essence of Dawning by completing any activity in the game. However, a faster way to get the cooking ingredient is by completing Wrathborn Hunts. 10 Essence of Dawning should be earned upon completion.
After all of the ingredients are gathered, players can use the oven to craft the Dark Chocolate Motes so that they can go ahead and take them to the Drifter.
Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The Dawning event will end on January 4, 2022.
