When Destiny 2 players want to look at the available weapon Ornaments, they typically need to access the rotating Eververse shop but Bungie has been looking at ways to streamline the experience a bit better. Beginning next Tuesday, Destiny 2 players will be able to view and purchase available Ornaments for Exotic armor and weapons when inspecting those particular items. Although Destiny 2 fans will still be able to view the Ornaments in the traditional Eververse method, this will make it easier for them to locate Ornaments for gear that they use.

According to Bungie, the Le Monarque Exotic Combat Bow will be receiving a brand new Ornament in celebration of the 30th Anniversary Pack. The pack comes with the Witch Queen expansion pack and it will also include the popular Destiny weapon known as Gjallarhorn, Claymore Sword, Eysaluna, 1000 Yard Stare, and more. Each Exotic Weapon will notify players which Ornaments are available for them when they inspect them and it’s likely that some will be available in the Eververse around the release of the anniversary pack.
Players who want to preview the Ornaments that are available for any given weapon will have to inspect the item then tab over to the new Ornaments section. Ornaments can be purchased directly from this menu using the currency in Destiny 2 such as Silver or Bright Dust depending on the Ornament. While the Eververse offers a good layout for Destiny 2 fans to observe the daily rotation of Ornaments, but being able to look at a weapon and its corresponding Ornaments is intended to help players discover new looks for existing Exotic weapons and armor.
Destiny 2 fans who are looking forward to the 30th Anniversary pack can pre-order it or wait until it releases on December 7 which coincides with the changes to Destiny 2’s Ornament preview and purchase system. Although Destiny 2: Witch Queen doesn’t release until February, fans who purchase the more expensive Destiny 2: Witch Queen and 30th Anniversary Edition will receive season passes for Seasons 16 through 19, two Year 5 dungeons, an exotic SMG and catalyst, and a sparrow. This plethora of new content coming to Destiny 2 may attract an influx of lapsed players that were waiting for new stuff to do.
Destiny 2 is available right now for Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
