Upgrade Modules can be purchased from The Gunsmith for a few different rotating currencies. This is probably the easiest method of acquiring Upgrade Modules, though they are rather expensive, currently costing players 1 Enhancement Core, 10 Legendary Shards, 25 Simulation Seeds or Helium Filaments, and 5,000 Glimmer each....

Even thoughDestiny 2 is primarily a player vs. enemy game, it does also allow player vs. player matches to be had for those that want to test their skills over in the Crucible. Now that the Darkness is an ever-present threat in the game, it’s important to look back on how this god-like entity has affected humanity prior. The Darkness used to always be considered a merciless enemy, but according to a Shadowkeep lore book in Destiny 2, the Darkness is actually a pivotal portion of the creation myth. It certainly doesn’t excuse the Collapse, or the many underlings of the Darkness that have continually threatened humanity, but it at least provided some context....

Among the droves of teams who participate in these raids, which occur every three months according to the plan from studio Bungie, a particular group has been making waves in the gaming world of Destiny 2, stunning fans and rivals alike with their prowess. Clan Elysium is proving to be a juggernaut, breezing past any challenges that come their way in any raids. The team first came to light when they won their first World’s First Raid Race in the Vault of Glass reprisal in May 2021....

Bungie has also started to make good on its promise for transparency with players. As it currently stands, Destiny 2 has more than a fair share of issues, something which is starting to drive players away from the game. However, this week’s blog post provided insights into these issues and potential solutions the studio is working on to address them going forward. Trials of Osiris and cheaters were discussed this week, though each week will put the spotlight on another aspect of the game that needs a boost....

Outside of the narrative component, players were also greeted with a couple of new quests as well. The first centers on the newest exotic trace rifle called Ruinous Effigy, another weapon which has seemingly been a big hit with players thanks to its unique ability to generate void orbs after defeating an enemy. The first phase of the Exodus mission also kicked off this past week, taking players to each of the infected locations to assist the NPC vendors there....

As exciting as this may be, the news also came with a bit of an unfortunate confirmation. While the next generation begins in November, Destiny 2 won’t be getting many of these features until December 8. According to Bungie, the extra time is needed to ensure that any potential bugs and issues can be ironed out. With that said, cross-gen play and faster loading times will be available on next-gen launch day....

Season of the Lost helps celebrate all these anniversaries thanks to the way it bridges old and new content, but also because it takes a look at what the game has been over the past four years. However, there is another anniversary that a few players have been talking about in the last few days: How Bungie has not made a new Exotic pulse rifle in Destiny 2 since Vigilance Wings....

These changes include Destiny 2’s next-gen upgrades for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and the launch of the Beyond Light expansion, which introduced the new Stasis powers for each class. As part of Season 13, Bungie will be making some more changes to the game, in particular, the reward structure for vendors. The goal is to update how Destiny players earn reputation from vendors, as well as how players receive their rewards in the game in the next season....

In its weekly blog post, Bungie revealed that Destiny 2 Year 2 will return Xur to his hide-and-go-seek roots. Starting on the first Friday after Forsaken’s launch, Xur will appear on any of the destinations, but there will be no icon on the map. Moreover, Xur’s location will not coincide with the Flashpoint Milestone, meaning the Agent of the Nine could be anywhere. At least for the first few weeks, the Destiny 2 community will be able to hunt down Xur and see what exotic armor and weapon he has for sale that week....

How to Get Eliksni Birdseed Much like all of The Dawning’s treats, Destiny 2 players need Dawning Essence to bake Eliksni Birdseed, which will either cost 15 if they haven’t Masterworked Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1 or 10 if they have. Dawning Essence is obtained whenever players complete any activity in the game, with quicker ones awarding fewer points, around 10, and lengthier ones awarding more, about 16 to 18. Because there are a lot of treats to bake, it’s a good idea to stock Dawning Essence beforehand....

Crimson Days 2020 will begin this Tuesday, February 11, and run for a full week until February 18, according to Bungie’s latest weekly blog. The event itself will largely be similar to past iterations, so players shouldn’t expect anything that will radically shake up Destiny 2’s Season of Dawn like Corridors of Time or Empyrean Foundation have. Namely, Destiny 2 is getting a fully fledged Iron Banner rework as part of Season 17 festivities, and the list of changes that are being made is rather long. These include, but are not limited to, the removal of power level scaling, as well as the return of classic Rift game mode, where Guardians effectively play super-powered rugby to score points against one another. At a panel during TwitchCon, Bungie explained that Destiny 2’s first year will be split into four seasons, with each new season being an opportunity for the developer to add new gear and make changes to the game. Bungie discussed how the feedback from fans given about the first Iron Banner has been heard and there will be some significant changes to the mode in Season 2. But on top of those changes, Iron Banner and other events will be getting additional weapons and armor for players to chase....

Season 19 is the 10th season since grandmasters were introduced, and while the content has seen its ups and downs, it has shown to be a quality piece of endgame content thanks to its longevity. Since many things change from season to season, including the rotation of nightfalls, what was once considered difficult last season may be easier the next season and vice versa.
